Institute for Child Development and Cross-Cultural Exchange (ICDCE) is a Non Governmental Organization in Ghana which is legally registered with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana with registration No.G-21,105, Department of Social Welfare of Ghana with registration No.D.S.W/3367 and Tema Metropolitan Assembly with registration No. 085405.
I.C.D.C.E. was established since August, 2006 and is based in Tema in the Greater Accra region.
I.C.D.C.E seeks to address social issues affecting Children and youth and ensuring
sustainable development in Ghana by exploring and harnessing all human resources and materials available to support the needy in society. To achieve this goal, I.C.D.C.E.will encourage and promote Inter-Cultural learning through International volunteers who would like to spend short term/long term in Ghana.
Both local and International volunteers would be given the opportunity to work to enhance and strengthen developments in our local Communities and Districts such as Hospitals, Schools, Orphanages, Child Labour, Art and Culture, HIV/aids projects, Community Education on Malaria, T.B, HIV/AIDS and other Health issues, Youth Friendly Services, Ecological projects, Farming etc.
AIM/OBJECTIVE
The aim of the organization shall be to address social issues affecting children and youth and ensuring sustainable development in Ghana by exploring and harnessing all human resources and materials available to support the needy.
MISSION STATEMENT
I.C.D.C.E. is poised to become the No.1 N.G.O. in Ghana whose aims and objectives will go a long way through the help of the good people of Ghana and international volunteers.
OUR VISION
I.C.D.C.E. will ensure that the protracted suffering of children in our society will be eradicated or reduced so that our children will have a better living condition and a transformation of life.
